Infrared photography with a dSLR

In the first of these two videos, Gavin Hoey shows how he uses a dense infrared filter to take pictures with a digital SLR camera. In the second video he shows how to manipulate the image in Photoshop to emulate a traditional infrared photograph taken on a film camera.

    Thanks for providing nice video about infrared digital photos. In infrared photography, the film or image sensor used is sensitive to infrared light. The part of the spectrum used is referred to as near-infrared to distinguish it from far-infrared, which is the domain of thermal imaging. Wavelengths used for photography range from about 700 nm to about 900 nm.
